Head of Clinical Partnerships

Be the first face of Stretch Quest in the clinical world.

Pediatric DPT preferred · Remote (US) · Equity + base · Reports to the founder

Why we're hiring this role first

Stretch Quest started as a consumer app — a founder building a game his daughter would actually play so her Sever's disease stretches stopped being a nightly fight. It worked. 210 clinically-designed routines later, tens of thousands of completions, a live subscription business, a clinical-ready data model already in production.

The category we're actually building is pediatric digital MSK — adherence-grade home exercise programs for kids, with outcomes data, RTM-ready billing signals, and a clinician dashboard shipping this quarter. This is a $10M+ whitespace inside a $6B+ adult-MSK category.

The bottleneck to opening it up isn't tech — the product is live. It's clinical credibility and doors. Pediatric PTs, children's hospital rehab leads, and benefits-platform buyers will talk to a fellow clinician much faster than they'll talk to a software founder. That's this role.

What you'll own in the first 180 days

01

The clinical advisory board

Recruit, charter, and run a founding board of 3–5 pediatric DPTs, 1 pediatric ortho MD, and 1 pediatric podiatrist. Quarterly cadence, equity + stipend, names on the /clinical page. Their judgment shapes content, outcomes methodology, and our acquirer narrative.

02

The pilot book

10 pediatric PT clinic pilots live by day 90. You source them, you set expectations, you own adherence reporting back. Starter tier ($149/mo) converts to Pro ($299/mo) after pilot. Net new MRR goal: $3K/month by end of year 1 from clinic channel alone.

03

The children's hospital pipeline

3 hospital conversations in a live stage (discovery / demo / pilot scoping) by month 6. You identify the right door (Rehab Director vs. VP Innovation vs. DIO), open it, and pull the founder in at the right moment. Annual contract values start at $79/provider/month (Enterprise tier).

04

The outcomes white paper

Once we have ~200 users × 30 days of pain and adherence data, you co-author the first Stretch Quest outcomes paper — likely 'Adherence & pain reduction in pediatric Sever\\'s disease, n=X' — with our advisory board. This is the artifact that changes the kind of buyer we attract.

05

The content that earns trust

Our best outbound has come from content that feels like a DPT talking to another DPT. You write 2 long-form pieces and 2 short-form videos a month. We don't need virality — we need a steady drumbeat of 'this person clearly knows what they're doing.'

Who you are

Clinical background. Pediatric DPT strongly preferred (5+ yrs treating kids 7–16, ortho/sports focus). Peds OT or ATC with strong clinic relationships also welcome.
Entrepreneurial energy. You've started something before, or you ran a cash-pay clinic, or you were the first commercial hire somewhere. You don't need a playbook handed to you.
Comfortable selling. You don't love it, but you don't flinch from it. You can ask for the close. You've closed at least 5 B2B conversations end-to-end.
Writer and talker. You can write a 1,500-word clinical post that a PT would read and nod. You're comfortable on camera. You've published something (blog, journal, podcast, LinkedIn).
Data-literate. You don't need to code. But you can read a retention heatmap, spot when adherence data looks wrong, and write a clean outcomes methodology.
Mission-aligned. You believe games are better delivery mechanisms for pediatric PT than printed sheets. You've watched a kid refuse their HEP and thought 'there has to be a better way.'

Compensation

Base
$110–150K

Commensurate with clinical + commercial experience. Lower end leans more heavily on equity.

Equity
1.0–2.5%

Founding-level. Standard 4-year vest with 1-year cliff. Early-exercise friendly.

Upside
Variable / bonus

10–20% target on hitting clinic pilot + hospital pipeline milestones. Upside uncapped.

Plus: healthcare stipend, home-office budget, conference budget (APTA CSM is the yearly must-go), and a co-founder-grade say in product and positioning.
