World lore

The Kingdom of Stretch

Every Stretch Quest hero lives in the same world. Three regions, three heroes, three companions — one shared set of laws.

The three regions

The Three Laws of the Kingdom

The heroes of the Kingdom of Stretch all agree on three unbreakable rules. These are the rules the game runs on:

The First Law

A castle is built one stretch at a time.

Established by Aria after her first lost tower. Applies to every structure in the kingdom: castles, fortresses, sanctuaries, relationships, skills.

The Second Law

Armor is forged one rep at a time.

Established by Thorne after the Mud Puddle Incident. Applies to knights, princesses, sages, and anyone else attempting to become a harder version of themselves.

The Third Law

The tree grows slowly, but the tree grows.

Established by Elara on the morning she watched the sparrow build the nest. Applies to bodies, gardens, wisdom, and any other living thing in the Kingdom.

The Treasury

At the heart of the Kingdom lies The Treasury, which rains down rewards to any hero who completes their daily quest. Treasures are sorted by rarity: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The Treasurer is impartial — a princess can loot a dragon-scale breastplate, a warrior can find a crystal tiara, a sage can discover a dancing shoe. Costumes don't bind you.

The Streakkeeper

A small, kind dragon who lives in the space between the three regions. The Streakkeeper records every consecutive day of practice across the whole Kingdom. When a streak breaks, she doesn't judge — she just notes it, gently, and is always happy to start a new one. The Streakkeeper is the most-visited non-player character in the Kingdom. Everyone loves her. Even Captain Quadrus, who doesn't like much.

Beyond the Kingdom

Maps exist showing the outer lands — The Plains of Plantar, The Meniscus Mountains, The Shoulder Valleys, The TMJ Hollows, The Kingdom of Carpal. These are the regions of the Family Plan: targeted terrain each hero can travel to for specialized training aimed at a specific condition they or a loved one carries. The heroes don't need passports to visit. They just need to be ready.
